Mr. Buck has 30 years of General and Technical Management experience. He has attained titles of Vice President, General Manager, Managing Director, Production Manager, and Operations Manager in various sized businesses in a global environment.
As a Lean Six Sigma Expert, his experience spans more than 16 years as a consultant, and 14 years in manufacturing. His strengths are in leadership, operations, business problem solving, change management, project management, and general management.
Recently Mr. Buck has completed several successful project within the Canadian Federal Government. Mr. Buck can bridge the gap that often exists between analysis and design and practical implementation.
He has many years’ experience in the application of “best practices” through process re-engineering and architecture and design, including those adopted by world class companies and organizations.
Mr. Buck has analysed business requirements, current processes, corporate culture, technology, and management styles in order to identify, develop and implement new processes. In order to lead successful changes he has developed innovative policies, procedures and guidelines; conducted reviews, developed implementation strategies; coordinated efforts across the Organizational Chart, and documented all changes.
Mr. Buck has held positions over the past 20 years requiring industry vision, business acumen, and managerial communication and technical skills. He is a results-oriented professional who works extremely well independently or as a team member.
Mr. Buck has conducted numerous Kaizens in both management and operational sectors using a plethora of Lean and Six Sigma tools and related technologies with both Union and non-Union environments.
He holds Bachelors (Science) and Masters (Business Administration) degrees from the University of Ottawa and The University of Manitoba, and is a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt as well as a certificate in Project Management.
